Joshua the Legacy of Blugrudge

Josh was born in 1991 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was the second of three brothers. He has an older brother and has younger twin brother.
Joshua was a writer and singer in a band called “Ragdolls Alchemy.” He wrote a song for his twin brother called “Drugs” because his twin also had an addiction problem at the time. As it often happens with bands, there were creative differences. Additionally, band members moving made it too hard to keep the band together.
Josh would go on to sing duets with other artists on Soundcloud and Discord. Josh was very active and passionate about everything he did. Unfortunately, he had a few medical problems and was newly diagnosed with Bipolar 1 disorder with psychosis at 32 years old. These are the issues that would catapult him into his troubles with addiction, starting with alcohol. Later he developed a problem with his inner ear that would start him on the road to opioid use disorder. He would bounce back and forth between alcohol and prescription drugs until he was diagnosed with TMJ in 2014. From there his battle with opioids would escalate. Josh was 18 months sober and 33yrs old at the time of his passing from fentanyl poisoning. While he was in recovery he noticed that as a recovering addict there was a break down and various gaps in a very broken system. The problem he saw was that, there are support groups for addicts in recovery, and there are support groups for families of addicts, there are no support groups for both, where everyone can come together in one place. The vision for Blugrudge was born from Josh’s observation. He started working on it by starting his TikTok page under the same name.
He wanted his story to be told from our perspective as his family. He wanted his story told from his perspective and experience as well. Josh started telling his story and now his voice lives through Blugrudge.
We will forever hold a grudge against blues (fentanyl)
